I'm currently behind on reviews, so don't be surprised if the recent reviews are a bit sparse.

The Jaunt

Cover of The Jaunt.

Classic sci-fi horror short story. Read it too late, when I had read more than one work that had built on it, so it didn’t feel all that special anymore. But Stephen King always just โ€ฆ gets people right, to the point that the story is optional just on the strength of his characters and writing. Odd, but whatever works, hey?

This book is part of the 2022 Backlog Incident.
