I'm currently behind on reviews, so don't be surprised if the recent reviews are a bit sparse.

Four Thousand Weeks

Cover of Four Thousand Weeks.

Again a victim of my lost notes. Enjoyed this book very much, led to some violent life decluttering. Bonus points for continuing to live in my head to some degree, rather than being a one-time intervention.

The quick summary is “you only have limited time on earth, figure out what you’re willing to spend it on and what you’d consider a waste”. There is a bit more detailled advice than that, but not too much: the real strength of the book is stating the thesis over and over in enough ways to drive it home without panicking you. I like it, and I think the redistributed focus is definitely a net good thing for me.

This book is part of the 2022 Backlog Incident.
