I'm currently behind on reviews, so don't be surprised if the recent reviews are a bit sparse.

Jhereg

Cover of Jhereg.

Really, really good. Vlad is cool, but more importantly, so is everybody else. There is clearly a lot of worldbuilding to come, but I wasn’t bothered by the book dropping a huge reveal with too little context: The whole thing was too fun and satisfying, and made me immediately trust that the author knew what he was doing and would provide proper payoff eventually. Looking forward to inhaling the series.

This book is part of the 2022 Backlog Incident.
