I'm currently behind on reviews, so don't be surprised if the recent reviews are a bit sparse.

Cover of Slaughterhouse-Five.

Vonnegut witnessed the Dresden bombing, and this is his book about it. Of course, it’s not just that, and even where it is just that, it is processed beautifully. Vonnegut is brutal and yet kind, dramatic but always matter-of-fact.

So it goes.
