I'm currently behind on reviews, so don't be surprised if the recent reviews are a bit sparse.

Proof by Induction

Cover of Proof by Induction.

Paul loses his dad, who he was working with on a big revolutionary proof. People can still be (virtually) talked to after death, but that’s meant as a short-term thing. His dad can’t remember anything between visits, and it’s all very obsessive. Cool interrogation of family dynamics, if heavy-handed!

This book is part of the 2022 Backlog Incident.
