Diane Duane can write anything, as long as she’s allowed to bring some mysticism into it. Spock’s World combines Vulkan’s history (and pre-history) with present-day problems and well-known characters into a wonderful adventure. As always in Trek, the antagonist is the weak spot, but I didn’t mind much in the face of the entire evolution of the planet forming an imaginative backdrop!
