I'm currently behind on reviews, so don't be surprised if the recent reviews are a bit sparse.

Till We Have Faces

Cover of Till We Have Faces.

First CS Lewis since reading and intensely disliking Narnia as a kid. Was told he considered this his best work. Intrigued and prepared for the worst, very pleasantly surprised. Deep, uncanny stuff, some weird stuff โ€“ Jungian vibes throughout. Very fairytale, in the weird-unsafe-dark way.

This book is part of the 2022 Backlog Incident.
