Unconventionally, this was my first Stevenson book. Since I had no idea what the War of the Roses was beyond its obscure mention in Kalle Blomquist, I was plenty confused and didn’t like it too much. This was probably unjust of me, but it’s unlikely that I’ll go back to correct my judgement.
