Book burners are prime "are we the baddies?" material, but it still was an impressive book – particularly compared to other 50s scifi. The firemen whose job it is to start fires were a nice touch.

Bradbury has a way with words, and I prefer his short stories to his other stuff. I'm not generally a horror person, and you can see where this one is going, but the tone and everything just flows together so well. 3.5 stars, basically. Gre
